OUR STORY

We are Pai-Weite The BrandX, a female, minority owned American based sneaker brand founded in July, 2020 by African American fashion designer and entrepreneur, Jasmine Pipkins. Our goal is to make high-quality fashion designs that are accessible to everyone and to give back with every pair of shoes.

Before launching Pai-Weite, Jasmine was a full time student at Berklee College of Music studying percussion and piano but she has always loved fashion and anything arts related. Around this  time she unfortunately lost a dear childhood friend Amia Martin to a battle with mental illness. This terrible loss helped Jasmine come to the conclusion that life is simply too short and it encouraged her to follow her passion in the fashion world as well. She would use Pai-Weite to not only showcase stylish shoes and apparel but bring  awareness to the silent battles people face on a daily basis and serve as inspiration to those, who like her friend struggle with mental health.

We are here to revolutionize the luxury fashion industry and provide hope and confidence to those who not only love fashion but who want to ally with us in the battle of mental health awareness. For every pair of shoes sold  $1 is donated to 'Rethink Mental Illness' an organization striving for equality, rights and fair treatment for those affected by mental illness.

We want our shoes to give people the strength they need to be loud, expressive and to use their voice to help pull us into  a future marked with empathy, inclusion and AWARENESS of mental struggles fought in silence.

We welcome you to our Soles4Souls Movement and thank you for your support! It's more than fashion, we're here to change the world...One step at a time.
